This property is made up of two separate apartments: the Daphne Terrace (5 th floor) and the Apollo Terrace (2 nd floor). The building has an elevator. Set within a Baroque 17 th century building in the charming Monti district, our Colosseum Terrace Residence is rich in history and will transport you to another era.
Pope VI spent time on the property and the outdoor courtyard served as a workshop for the Vatican Museum to restore its priceless marble statues in the 1800s. Now owned by an esteemed scientist with a passion for the arts, the Colosseum Terrace apartments are full of fascinating historic objects including ancient maps, rare prints, astronomical equipment, 17th century paintings and even a grand piano (in the Daphne Terrace). The wooden beams ceilings are painted by hand featuring ornamental vegetal motifs and were recently restored to help maintain the historic details of the home.
